The Condos at Cache + Pearl in Jackson, Wyo., are nearing approval for a building permit. The Planning Commission recently unanimously recommended the development plan for the 18-unit short-term rental condos. Now, the proposal moves to the Town Council for final approval. Developer Crystal Creek Capital made significant changes to the original sketch plan, notably in exterior materials and building architecture. The vote during the recent meeting was a procedural step, delayed from June 1 due to conflicts of interest among commissioners. Crystal Creek Capital's president, Jim Walter, emphasized the design's focus on long-term residency. The absence of public comment at both meetings suggests general acceptance of the project. Commissioner Anne Schuler expressed approval of the design changes, particularly near the Coe cabin.
